wiper harness

Hi. I'm wondering if any of you have & would be able to send me a windsheild wiper harness for my 72 blazer. I need a new one as I chopped my old one up, and the diagram I have is a little confusing about that circuit. Let me know & we'll set up a way for me to pay for it. My ZIP is 14228.

Thanks,

Buddy

Since the wiring for the windshield wiper is integral with the interior wiring harness, you have a couple of options. You can buy the whole under dash harness or make up a custom harness. I am assuming that your existing under dash harness is beyond repair?

If you can get a good used under dash harness, that might be your best way to go.

Actually, the wiper wiring harness consists of a power wire from the fuse block that then is routed to the wiper switch & split somehow to power the washer pump as well. I am beginning to think that I could set them up independently of each other & just have a toggle for the pump. That would probably work, BUT, I figured that if somebody happened to have an old parts truck with somewhat intact wiring, that they might not mind chopping that part out of the underdash wiring and sending it to me. It would make my life a lot easier.

Also, the underdash wiring in my truck is actually gone because, I am still in the process of a complete re-wire.

Thanks for the reply, but I'd still be very gracious if someone could help me out with this.

Thanks,

Buddy
