Parting Out 86 Suburban

Parting out interior, and anything that wont 'disable' it from being moved (no key suspension parts yet). Let me know what you need. This was a running, driving suburban till the tranny went south. The front seats, console, front seat belts, and front door panels are already sold. I can get digital pics of anything you want to see. Can post here, or email me at commagic@bright.net

Do you still have the bucket seat mounts that are welded in the floor pan? I would be interested in them if you do.

I am in need of the passenger side interior chrome trim piece on silverados and sierra classic models that is under the pull strap handle. Prefer both tabs intact, but if they are broken, then the tabs also. I should be able to reglue them back on.

Let me know.
Thanks for the help

Tommy - Sounds like the piece you need is on the door panel, which both the front ones are already gone.

n2trux - Sorry, the interior is blue, and I just have an old style mirror in it (which the mirror has a crack in it).

TomSmith - The front doors aren't in too bad of shape. They are manual locks/windows. The front of this suburban was hit at one time and fixed, but it looks like before it was fixed, the drivers side fender was pushed back to the door, and someone opened it a couple times, rolling the very edge of it inward. I think the passengers side door is in great shape, but can check and get you pics if interested.

Sorry, the tracks and brackets went with the seats and are already gone. Are you just wanting each individual mount cut out, or basically a 2'x2' square cut out for each side?

yea, it is in pretty bad shape. The reason for the pics is someone said they might want it to use to try a fiberglass job.

Did the truck have AC? If not, I need the cables that go from the heater-defroster/temperature control to the heater box behind the glove box.

A rough cut out with the mounts for the inner driver and inner passenger side would be great. Nothing fancy as long as the mounts are good.

I would take $15 plus shipping for the inner drivers side mount, and the inner passengers side mount. I might also be getting the seat brackets back that I sold with the seats. The guy is putting the seats in a blazer, and will have to use his existing ones. If I get them back, I will take $20 for them.

Original 350 - seems to run fine, but supposedly has a head gasket problem or something. I guess it got hot once, and that's what they thought it was. I drove it for awhile. No water in oil or oil in water, but did notice it would warm up pretty good if just sitting there idling. But then again, could be a clutch fan, too. Either way, should probably be pulled apart just to be sure before going into something else.
