Drip Rail sealer question.
What sealer are you guys using to fill in the drip rail when you repaint your trucks? I've stripped my truck down to the metal, even remove the cracked old sealer in the drip rail. Now I need to put new sealer in.
Thanks in advance. Scott |

3M self-leveling seam sealer, a two part sealer. You will need a special gun to dispense it, real cheap tho. Mask around both sides of seam after priming, fill drip rail, let set, paint. Brian

3M drip check. Made for drip rails, hence the name. It dries overnight and is paintable. No special tools needed, just a steady hand...

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Looks like I'll go and get some drip check. Mixup, how many tubes did you use?
Thanks, Scott |
