What size Carb?
What size carb can out on a 68 1/2 ton with a 327? Was it 600 or 750?

Pretty sure the '69 C20 327 I played with in high school had a Quadrajet, and I think they're rated at 780 CFM.

i think a 780 might be a litlle much it would just dump the fuel in i would go for a 650 and make sure the spacer is the right hight for your mixture.

You really dont want more than a 600cfm with an aftermarket carb like a Edlejunk or Holley, etc unless it is built for severe performance and the same 600cfm will also work well on a fairly built 350. Quadrajets have many ratings not just one, most 327's had either a 2 barrel or quadrajet carb, I have seen them rated from 675 up to 825cfms. And if anyone is building performance dont use a Edlebrock go for the Holley, Demon or Quadrajet setups. The Edlebrock carbs are not meant for performance they are ment to be emission friendly and will fall short on a tre HiPerformance engine build.
