Front Disc Brake Conversion
I'm sure this has been posted before, but since the search is disabled, I'll ask again. What parts are necessary to swap 1971+ disc brakes onto a 1969 C10? I know I would need spindles, rotors and calipers, but are there any brackets or other parts I'd need, like a proportioning valve? I'm looking for the cheapest way to convert to disc brakes, doesn't matter to me if it 5 or 6 lug.

You need all the parts you listed plus the Master cylinder.

You will need 71-72 ball joints but I don't know if they will fit ½ton arms or not. 71-72 outer tie rods and an adapter to fit them with your inners. As ^ disc/drum master AND p/valve. Flexible brake lines to fit from your hard lines to calipers.
Cheapest way to discs would be a whole disc brake x-member. They can be had for the price of aftermarket spindles alone.

I did my '70 using '71-72 method. The 71-72 ball joints will work. You will want 72 everything for the brakes and a 71-72 master/booster set up off a 1/2 ton. Get the tie rod coupler from Classic Performance Products, If I had it to do over I would have probably did the crossmember swap, but this way will work fine.
