Exclamation Help ASAP, 72 fact. tilt column

While taking the long way home from taking my son to the doctor, I came across an salvage yard that is about to part out a 72 costume deluxe long bed. The guy there was takeing out the factory auto tilt coumn. He says that he wants $175 for the columne. Is that a good price?? Steering wheel is shot, Blinker rod is missing, but the tilt part of the columne seamed nice and tight. Thanks for your help.
Stephen

I've seen rebuilt ones on Ebay for $350-$375 (all new parts and painted). If it'sa all there and feels tight, might be ok.
