Cool grills- original and aftermarket

I have been looking for a original equip. 94-98/9 grill in good shape with no luck. I don't want an aftermarket but was wondering if anybody has one and what your experience with it is. Is it an exact replica, how does it fit and are there large gaps? Thanks.

PS If anybody knows of a good place to find one besides junk yard and eBay I'd like to hear from ya. Thx.

AG

Check Ebay, always a good deal to be found. Here's one I found quickly:

the aftermarket grills fit awful. i work in a collision shop and we wont even use the aftermarket ones. they dont fit. i would imagine the ones on ebay are even worse.

I have used tons of aftermarket grills. Never had a fit problem with any of them.
The only difference in them is the area around the bowtie. Some look better than others there.

I just put an aftermarket grille in my 98 GMC, and it fit WAYYY better then the factory one. I was never one for aftermarket sheetmetal, but the guy I bought it from said he would take it back if it`was no good.

Cool

Good info. so far. Would you guys who purchased good aftermarket ones mind saying where you purchased them from? If it was from eBay, do you remember the establishment or sellers ID? Also, for the ones who purchased bad grills.....now is your time to get revenge and let all know who screwed you and hopefully it won't happen to anyone else...
