GM vs. Non GM Rocker Panels
I went to the Chevy Dealership today and they can get rockers for $112.10 each. Non GM rockers sell around $20.00 or less. I use to do bodywork and from that experience I lean towards the GM rockers But the price of non GM rockers are tempting my pocketbook. Will some let me know what kind of experiences they had installing non GM rockers.

i put in Tri plus rockers, not the cheapest, but not GM Either. I had to do a little tweaking, but they look good. I also installed a set of jc whittney rockers on my first truck, they seemed to work well, too
good luck David

We got the last set of rockers from GMC Pauls, (non GM). There was some tweaking but generally they fit really well and they looked good when installed.

I bought a set from GMC Pauls too. This was my FIRST EVER attempt at doing any welding that a person could see. If there was tweaking to do I did it without knowing it. Just last night I was showing the truck to my father-in-law who asked what the part cost. I had the bill of sale on the shelf with the other one I bought for the drivers side. $13.95 each. So for $196 less than GM cost you can have rockers that look like the one on my passenger side.
Personally I'd rather have the $196 in MY pocket.

I installed a pair of aftermarket rockers for an old board member a while back and they required very little effort to install and fit perfect.

I ordered a couple sets from Tim Christian as well and they were nice, thick and straight metal, the good stuff.

You can get genuine GM rockers here for around $65.00 each plus shipping. I have used originals and I like them. Not as many ripples or lines on the top as the repopped ones.
