Help with VIN number
Just bought a '92 3500 5 spd. and just want to make sure that it is a 5.7 l. Can anyone tell me what digit denotes the engine.

I just found out the answer that I was looking for. It is indeed a 5.7l

8th digit denotes engine option 92 5.7L is a R
