dually beds with step fenders
since search function is disabled i am resorting to asking for these pics but i have been doing some thinking and am thinking of doing this to my truck.

There have been some posts of original crew cab trucks poster on here in the past. The ones I remember were government trucks, used in the forest service, etc. The back doors were the same as the front, and there was a piece of "V" shaped sheet metal between the top part of the windows, rather funky lookin'. I'm not sure if they were GM factory made, or from a conversion company. I think we have one member from Alaska that has one of them, maybe some others, can't remember for sure.

Check the parts board, someone posted a dually without fenders and it looks a lot better than a truck with fenders.

GM didn't build crew cabs, but they sold them...much like the camaro convertable of a few years ago...not GM built, but sold as if it was. The pics on that link to my site are all crew cabs that were sold through GM.
Here's a few pics of a Longhorn with step side fenders in the back. It was for sale a few months ago...big block, TH400, 5th wheel, it was sold back to the original owner who made all the mods in the first place. |
