Parted out '67 CST
I just parted out a '67 CST. Grill is excellent except for a couple little dings in the stainless outline bars. What is the value of a decent grill? I have lots of other parts I saved including all knobs and connections such as choke cable. I removed the uncut dash to save it. Steering wheel is good except for those cracks that are always close to the hub. I have heater controls and cables. Any interest in helping me establish value or do I just go to e-bay to see what I can get? Thanks for any help.

How did you cut the whole dash out? I am interested in doing that swap? Is it all welded or partly bolted in?

I would be interested in the choke cable and knob, but I don't know what it is worth.

From what I have seen lately, I'd say the grill is worth $75 to $100.

To remove dash the windshield has to be taken out. At the pinch weld at the lower edge of the windshield there are about 25 or so spot welds that have to be drilled out and then there are three bolts at each end of the dash that bolt to the cab. It took about 45 minutes to remove the front glass and drill out spot welds. The way guys talk about butchered dashes I would think a virgin would be worth something.

What type of steering column, automatic? I need a good position indicator and the light wire to the dash. Also how is the steering wheel center cap and the vinyl door panel color and condition?

It was a three on the tree. I did save the wheel center cap, but it's slightly faded. Door panels not good and what can be used I need.

And I was waiting for you to reply to me on Piston's board regarding knobs and horn button, etc (going back several week s now). Am I still first in line for these items? If so shoot me a price.

Sorry, CPNE. I thought you were just suggesting I save these items because they are of some value. I did not realize you wanted them. I am clueless as to their value. I'm going to have to trust you to make an offer. These small items will not be an issue to send to NH. Is it choke cable, light switch, and washer/wiper knob you want? And horn button? Lighter was missing. Let me know. If you want them to re-sell, I appreciate that, but I would keep them for myself if that's the case. If you need them for a project of your own I will help you out.
