HID lights
i know theres a truck on here with HID lights im gonna do that conversion to my truck as well and i wanted to see some pics of them on our trucks and i was wondering if anyone has a photo of any???

I am not sure about sizing for the headlights, but the driving lamps could go into a newer bumper with cutouts for foglights. You may need a higher output alternator, like from a 83-87 Silverado (see the Sep. 10th Alternator thread) to power them. Me? I'm going to mount some pointable backward from a lightbar to light up the bed for late night loading. |

If you are talking about the H4 light conversion, I did that one on my truck. Got the kit from Ricks and couldn't be happier with the quality and brightness. I think he still has picks on his websight. The kit comes with bulbs that look a little blue, but it doesn't look ricer at all. It is actually kinda cool because it matches the blue bowtie up front in the grill. I also did the headlight relay conversion although I didn't really need to( my front harness was fairly new) but I did it as a precation (I didn't want my headlight switch going out). Check his websight, I believe the link is on the vendors page. Hope this helps a little. I can't remember the price exactly, but it was 35 or 40 bucks, and he uses real glass lenses, not crappy plastic ones.
