Lights On Buzzer?

OK. I'm a doofus kid. Twice in the last 3 days I've left my lights on in the school parking lot. Wednesday the SRO (school resource officer, AKA sherriff) just coat hangered my lock (window was cracked open) and turned them off for me (thanks), but today i didn't realize i left them on, and when i went to bring this girl home (score!) ol red said "click" rather than "vroom vroom", and i had to get my SAI (senior army instructor, JROTC) to jump me off (thank you!). I think my neighbor's 84 Sierra Classic has one (or not), but i know my 80 Custum Deluxe doesn't, or else i wouldn't have left them on. Anybody ghetto'ed a lights-on dinger / buzzer? What would be involved? Does a later model truck have them that i could steal from a junker? Or am i just a goober

cool beans! i think after my main needs im gonna find one of those, and order that neeto 2 or 3 (i forget how many) curtesy light kit from LMC as it gets rather dark with just the CD player and under dash light (which can be a good thing...)
On the subject of lighting, do the headliner kits from LMC (the one for models not originally equipped with headliners), do they come with a cutout for a dome light? Cause i have neither, and will be installing both eventually

I bought one at Wal~Mart a couple of years ago that had the 3M name on it. It plugs into/onto the fuse box, & buzzes when the lights are on & the ignition turns off. They were in the car light bulbs section in a yellow package.

Here's a couple of crude diagrams for home-made ones:

Lights on Buzzer?

Guys;

Unfortunately, Wal Mart no longer carries them. You can get the same exact thing from GM, but for more money. If anybody knows where to get the 3M brand, let us know because I would like another. I can get you the GM P/N tomorrow if you want it.
