bucket seat question
hey all, whats up? i have a 1986 standard cab silverado and was wondering how hard is it to change the old bench seat to more comftorable bucket seats. i see APC has a seat and brackets for about $900 but i didn't really want to spend that much. is it possible to get a seat setup from the junkyard and swap it in. how would i mate the seats to the body? would i have to fabricate brackets? what about the seat belts? any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for, but you might want to check out this website. They are brand new seats with brackets that will fit just about any truck...just bolt them in and go. I think there might even be a couple of guys on the forum that have some of the "venice" seats in their trucks.

FYI:The only problem buying from these guys is the length of time to get them after placing the order and the lack of communication and miscommunication regarding its status. I think this place is the same as Salesco?
