Anyone ever seen any of these valve covers?

Valve covers on ebay

Any good love the flames.
How hard is it to keep them nice an shiny?

If you like flames then those are cool. They aren't for me but that's just my deal.

They will take freaquent polishing to keep them shiney. You can polish them then put sealer ( or wax) on them but they will still waterspot and get dull sooner or later....

Just to be clear how much is freaquent? I am not afriad of a little elbow grease but by the same token dont want to be polishing them every month.

They are going to be the same as billet wheels or worse. It depends on the quality of the materials they are made of. If you don't want to polish them get them chromed while they are new. Here's a set on a motor-

I have those same valve covers on my truck. I bought the matching air filter also. So far the still look great and they have been on for at least 3 if not 4 months. I bought mine at a swap meet in Indy sometime in the spring.

hmmm valve covers. the only oil leak i have really (i think) is my ghetto OE valve covers. Anyone else have a leak problem with the OE valve covers on a 305 V8?
