10 spline adapter for NP205 needed.
Got a local guy around here asking for a 10 spline sleeved adapter for this np205 to sm465. Also his tranny shaft that accepts that shaft is worn too if you got parts like that let me know. His adapter sleeve wore away all the inner splines on the tranny side, not a bit left..never seen that before. Seen them worn but not gone.

adapter
I have one here on my computer desk i use for a paper weight. It is a good one and a spare one for my 69 K/20 with granny 4spd with a rockwell case. I will check for another for you. I am trying to get someone to make new ones of these. They are too hard to find. And mine was wore that bad that one hard pop of the clutch would have finished the splines off. Had to change the tranny cause the output shaft was razor sharp.

Long distance is going to be a problem, but here is a complete system: Clutch, flywheel, trans, adaptor, & 205 TC.
I will sell it all for $500 if you can get someone to pick it up here. |

But I have heard of the problem before. My trans output is toast, and the sleeve is toast on the transmission side. The Rockwell's input shaft is in perfect shape, tho I got a complete trans, adapter, sleeve, and transfer case for free from a low-mile '80 K/20. The only downside is the 205 has the aluminum slip yoke tailcone. I would check ebay, as they pop up from time to time, but they won't go cheap. I am looking to convert my truck to 32 spline. The Sm465 used with the NP208 transfer case in the 80's and the Np205 from 85-91 had a long 32 spline output, and the 205 and 208 both had female 32 spline input gears. this setup does not have an adapter sleeve and is stronger and does not wear, but it is extremely hard to find. good luck
