Qwik rearend question please
Am I remembering right,,,my 6 lug 3:73 rear end carrier will not accept 3:08 gears? Wanting to improve hwy cruising rpms. Thanks.

If not mistaken... maybe. There are 2 different series carries for our trucks w/ 3.73 gears. Series 3 & series 4. Unforunately, I don't remember which is which.
Your still best off going Overdrive. (wish I had the cash to do so). You will see much better cruising speeds w/ the OD.

You need a different carrier.
I recently swapped my 3.73 for a 3.08. It's way better, I can keep up with traffic now and my mileage improved 5 miles per gallon, yes 5!
