WTT: DJM 3"er's for WC 2.5"er's
I have a brand new set of DJM 3" drop spindles for 1" brake rotors. Never mounted. They have stripped of any rust, and painted with a couple coats of flat black. I want to trade for a brand new set of Western Chassis 2.5" spindles, for 1" rotors obviously.
I have decided to run stocker 15's for a while, which obviously won't work with 3" spindles. Looking to trade in such a way that i pay for shipping of my spindles to the other party and vice versa. Last edited by SixthFloorFreak; 08-31-2004 at 06:15 PM. |

I believe the 3" DJM spindles will work with a 15" wheel if you only grind down the lip of the LCA a small amount.

i know of that mod...but my dad doesn't want me to do it. don't get me wrong, i own the truck and pay the payments to the bank, but out of respect for him and his wishes, i won't grind the LCA's

I guess "father knows best", but if you don't get someone to trade with you, you will still have 3 alternatives. (1) Buy a new set 2.5", then sell the 3" ones on Ebay or parts forum, (2) Do the grind of LCA or (3) Get 17" wheels & tires. All but #2 will cost you $$$'s.

I might be interested in buying the spindles that you have.

You could always do like I did. Use a set of van rallies on the front, they are 7" wide instead of 8". Use the 8" trim rings & nobody will be able to tell the difference...corn
