Need parts? I have found the spot.
For anybody on the East coast there is a junkyard in Cusseta, Ga. Cusseta Auto Salvage. The owner is a Ford man but when I was looking for parts for my 68 I went there. He must of had 20 to 30 60-72 Chevy/GMC trucks or maybe more. I found my steering column and my V8 frame mounts there. Allot of good sheet metal! Might have what your looking for.

Haven't heard of that one before. I will have to check to see if my F**d friends know of it. I haven't been down in the Ft. Benning area in a while but it would not be to long of a drive if the price/selection is good. How were his prices? Also, would they let you wonder through the yard (it is much more enjoyable when they do)? If his prices are good, I might have to drag my F**D friend down there with me. It is nice to go junk'n with F**d folks because they aren't interested in the same parts you are.

He lets you wonder. Also He really dosen't know the prices so you can get stuff pretty cheap. Now he knows what he has in f**d parts so your friend might not get as good of deal as you.

It's by FT. Benning. If you are coming from ATL you go 85S to 185S to 280E it is a little ways down 280 but there will be a road on the left. There will be to signs a palm reader sign and a sign for Four winds Restaurant. Take a left there and it is down the road about 3 miles.

I looked it up it's not too far for me. I hope it was a tilt column and bb motor mounts. I could have saved you some time. I will check it out thanks. Dean@tnchev M G B Y

Almost all of them were, but alot of them are parted out. Some still had engines in them.
