Anyone interested in a soft top??

Here are the details...

STC Black Vinyl "snapless" Fastrac soft top with the dark tint windows.

I bought the blazer and the soft top was on it. I believe the prev owner said it had been on for 2 yrs. The prev owner is in the military and only drove the truck a few times in the 2 yrs. The rest of the time, the truck sat outside in the weather.

I took the top off and put the hardtop on. This past spring, I put the soft top on and it's still on.

No rips, or tears in any of the fabric, HOWEVER, some of the zippers have pulled away from the top fabric. The windows are in excellent shape and do not have any hazing or scratching that I am aware of.

I'm selling because the sucker leaks along the top seams near the windows above the rear wheel well. I think it's a design flaw, but STC says they haven't had any complaints (????). I'm trying to get rid of rust, not breed it.

Anyway, I will sell the top and all hardware for $300 plus shipping from 64850, SW Missouri

Thanks

I'm interested, but need to see some pics...is that possible? Pics of the overall condition(whole top) and the zipper part(tearing away) also.

Yeah, I'll try and get some pics this weekend. We are in the process of moving. Closing on the house Tuesday, so it's kinda hectic.

If I remember right, the zipper on the passenger side front, where it starts is pulled away about 2" from the fabric.

The zipper on the drivers side, about the middle of the window, is pulled away about 2".

I'm guessing some of the stitching has begun to weaken since it sat outside so long.

Pics will prolly be of it NOT washed, so don't let that scare ya... It will be shipped cleaned up.

Klean, the only holes to be drilled will be above the windshield and maybe a couple on the bedrails. I'm not sure since it was installed when I bought it.

Oh yeah, a few on the top of the tailgate.

Fellas,

I'm leaving for Colorado tomorrow and will be gone for 2 weeks. I will post up the pics when I get back and if interested, we'll work on shipping at that time.

Thanks

I have A guy that is offering me a new soft top (still in the box) that he bought about 10 years ago. He tells the brand is BEST TOPS. He said it was the top sold by GM. Has anyone had any experience with this type of top?

I didn't get your PM, but yeah, I let this thread die this winter since I didn't figure there would be much demand for a soft top in the cold weather.

I've got a great aunt in Commerce City and my sis lives in Broomfield.
