suspension strength??
I was thinking about buying a first gen blazer/jimmy for a work/family truck. Does anyone know if the rear suspension could hold 600lbs worth of tools? Or should I just get a trailer?

You might have to add some helper springs. They also tend to get a little floaty in the front with too much weight in back. I recently hauled a load to the dump and it was 980 pounds. I could definately feel the weight in back and the front was a a little floaty, but driveable.

WOW!! Almost 1000lbs! Good to know it was still driveable.
