Didnt think
I started to get my 350 ready to pull today. Sucks doing this alone but I put a pretty good dent in the process. What a difference having a truck with power steering and brakes make in getting a engine out. I should have it pulled tomorrow if everything goes ok and it dosent rain. All thats left is unbolting the power steering hoses, trans and exhaust and I should be good to go. Ive been taking lots of pics with the Dig. camera and putting all nuts and bolts in baggies. Because I know me I wont remember where they went later. lol

I know the feeling about the sucks part. Been there, done that. It sucks big time to pull an engine by yourself. What sucks worse or just as bad is removing and reinstalling the hood by yourself.
 Hang in there. What doesn't kill you will make you stronger.

ah don't seperate them..throw them all together like i do then stand there for a week scratching your head trying to figure out where they go,or wake up in the middle of the night saying to yourself,now i remember!! lol ,ya only do it once!

i can do the hood myself no problem.... but i am 6'5 215 so the long arms and height help me lol
also i found that if you can, go ahead and spend an extra $100-200 for new bolts when possible, just get alot of Grade 8 bolts or specific ones for your truck like for exhaust...

I tried it by myself once. I was changing a fender and obviously had to remove the hood to do it. The wife was asleep, but when things started going awry with the hood, I held it down with one hand and reached through the window and honked the horn with the other...it scared my wife half to death. She came running out into the garage with her nightgown on in a stupor.
