my 72 has a 5/7 drop, what size wheels should i go with? heres a pic of my truck.

Since you are having a hard time deciding exactly what it is your going to do w/the truck (sell it.... keep it.... trade it..... part it out . .....), my vote is don't buy anything until you commit to one goal/direction. The wheels in the pics look fine. Maybe just get some new tires.

yea i wish the wheels in the pics were fine, the fronts are 15's and the backs are 14's, they are just on there so it can roll.

OK... w/that info, I pick 15" wheels because you can get some ralleys & trim rings pretty cheap while you decide the trucks fate.

If your really trying to sell it get some cheap wheels that look good. That will help to sell it. If your going to keep it get 20's and be done with it. Go large or go home....

aren`t you selling this thing? i`ve seen several posts that it`s for sale and the motor is for sale but then your wanting to buy parts to make it look better. are you keeping it, selling it or what? can`t go wrong with american torque thrust mags in my opinion.

here what i noticed the other day while driving around, it seems every one and his dog and his brother have bought 20" rims and bigger too me its just not a cool thing anymore. then i noticed a guy with some 15 or 16" rims and i had to look twice, i dunno i just think the big rim thing got overkilled and damn fast im gonna stick with some 15 16 or 17 " wheels. JMO

If you want a complete package... truck/wheels then go no bigger than 17's. Id shoot myself if some one looks at my truck and only mentions the wheels... what Im saying is 20's are just too big and ridiculous. Go for a complete package with your trucks appearance. Its the blend of all its components that make a nice vehicle.

It looks to me like you were going for a a sort of fast look on your truck so 20's would not only slow you but waste more gas for best results i would go 17x8 front 17x9 back

well i have decided to put it together and then sell it, i really think some 18s or 20s would set it off, but its not what i like, its what would make it sell quicker, so how does a set of chrome 15s or 16s sound?
