New drip rail moulding

Has anyone installed the chrome drip rail moulding on a 67-72 chevy truck? Any tricks or suggestions?
Thanks,
Tom

Tom I gave it a try with my '71 and was not successful in fact I had to repaint the drip rail after the botched attempt. I later learned from a very respect truck guy that on all of his trucks he grinds the back clips and actually epoxies the rails to the standard cab rails???? Did not sound like something I wanted to attempt but I'm not everyone. I know the rails have to be absolutely perfect as the strips are held in place by an interference type fit. I have saw original trucks wth the molding and they had actually been screwed in place by the PO's. I think it looks great but are a very difficult add-on.
