Dash Color

I realize the dash is painted body color but mine had the flat portion from the pad to the windshield painted flat black, original paint was red so is the black somebody's non stock change? The truck came from the Janesville plant. Thanks in advance.

This is to reduce the glare on the windshield in the sun. Mine is red, and it was even flat as if it were original, but the glare is considerable.
My Blue truck had flat blue there, and the Gold one has flat gold.
