89 4x4 lift

Hi all, I have an '89 chevy 4x4 and I've been looking at lift kits. Has anyone installed a skyjacker 2 1/2" lift on the 88 to 98 4x4's.

Thanks Kirk

Dont wast your money on a 2 1/2" lift, get a 4 or 6".

get a 6" with a full 6" diff drop. you can then de-crank your torsion bars for a better CV angle, and 4" of lift. the 2 1/2" kit is just the Ford torsion bar keys, IIRC. NOT a good idea unless you get enjoyment out of breaking ball joints and axle shafts.
