WTB - 71-72 4x4 front axle/diff complete disk to disk 3.73

I want disk brakes for my new (to me) 69 blazer.

Must be complete with claipers and ready to bolt on.

Also interested in stock height front spings.

What else do I need to lower back down to stock height from what looks to be a 4" lift?????

A buddy of mine has a pair of front springs off a 71 3/4 ton GMC - they are in very good shape. I am certain they are not the springs the truck came with. They are stock height and have good bushings in them (they appear to be urethane bushings).

They are in my barn and I can get you pics if you want to see them. He will take $50 with you covering shipping costs. Shipping for a pair of springs is usually about $35-$45. PM me if you want pics and are interested.

Here are the pics I took last night and I measured the height of my buddy's springs compared to my definite old set of stock front springs and they are the same.

The pic with 3 springs shows my definite stock front spring from my 69 K20 - note it has a shorter last leaf where as Tony's doesn't have that shorter leaf - I'm guessing his are not from the factory but a replacement set.

My only concern is that they are 3/4 ton springs.

.... and the total cost. :p

How many leafs did a stock 1/2 spring come with?

BTTT

I've kinda changed my mind on the ride height issue. I'm not so sure that I want to lower it back to stock height anymore. The raised height is starting to grow on me.

but for sure.. I'm still looking for the front axle assmembly with disks.
