production #'s for 68 chev 1/2 ton 4x4
Just curious as to how many of these were built. I just picked up this 68 1/2 ton 4x4, 327 4 speed, longbox. Tach, Soft ray glass. I haven't seen too many like this!

68 115 inch WB 4X4;
Chassis and Cabs = 43 Fleetside = 1449 Step Side = 1706 68 127 inch WB 4X4 Chassis Cab = 41 Fleetside = ??? No Number given Stepside = 552 Panel = 59 Burb = 4259 It looks like the number you really want is not listed. It sound like a really cool truck. Have any pictures?

canadian eh
for your production numbers if your truck was made in canada [6th number in vin sould be a 1 meaning oshawa plant] write to vintage vehicle services. it costs 48.15 cdn. [with gst] to run your vin an model number. they give you a list of all options and production number right from GM the ph. no. is 1 888 467 6853 or George.zapora@gm.com
