Front bumper bracket differences?

I had a board memebr contact me about some front bumper brackets. He asked for power steering brackets to fit a 67/68. Is there differences in the 2wd version for ps? I was unaware of this. I got some laying around so I better check. My guess is that maybe the driver side is notched out for the bigger steering box???? (I realize that the early set-up were goofy and had the cylinders/etc, but I'm referring to someone putting a later ps box on an early frame). Brian

Yes, there is a difference in the earlier ones. I just cut a notch in my '69 brackets when I added ps.... The factory ones are rolled in this area for clearance.

My '69 still is waiting for me to notch the driver's bumper mount on mine. I don't know what year they started doing it from the factory - or if it was only done to ps equipt trucks
