GMC Owner - The System is Against ME!

For a few years I was working on, you guessed it, a blue C-10. I was a proud member of the Chevy crew and able to find any type of Chevrolet logo clothing or mementos that I could desire.

Last spring I found a new project truck: a '69 GMC. So, now that I'm a GMC guy I want GMC stuff. Do you think I can find anything close to the amount of Chevy stuff? Yes, I know that GMC sells fewer trucks than Chevy. Yes, I know that the Chevy audience is bigger because of the car crowd. But for goodness sake - give us GMC the goods!

1979 Honda GL 1000 - retro touring at its best.

Past:
'05 Sierra 4x4 - Had 270,000 KM and running well when it was written-off by a stop sign runner.
'94 F-150 from the "F word" company. I'll admit it...good truck. Sold what was left of it for $800 to a guy who came to pick it up at 11:00 PM with cash in hand. Hmm.
'79 Sierra Grande (Black) organ donor - perfect rebuildable 4-bolt 350 and a good TH350.
'76 Sierra Grande (Orange) - hate isn't too strong a word. Kid who bought it turned it into a hot rod.
'68 C-10 R.I.P. - Dad's old truck...too far gone to resurrect.
'59 C-50 - with hoist. Truck is gone, wife isn't. Nuff said.

LOL, it is part of the exclusive club...you just know a GMC owner by meeting them, you can't figure out what it is about them, you just know...."He's a GMC owner...what a cool guy."

Ahhhhhh GMC's you just gotta love-em!!!! We can help with virtually all GMC 67-72 parts other than 3 exterior emblems used in 67-68, and 1 interior glove box emblem used in 67-68, we also can't do the GMC horn buttons. But otherwise I believe I have everything including the GMC lettered stepside & fleetside tailgates.
Being I am GMC lover and tons of the parts weren't being made I made sure to send off the parts that were not reproduced and got them made.
Stop by our web site or phone we'll be happy to help!!!

Yeah, I guess we are a bit on the "different" side aren't we.
So GMC Paul, is anyone ever going to repro the horn button? Most other parts I've been able to find so far. Was very happy to see the repro grills a few years ago.

yeah try looking for horn buttons, or the ever hard to find serria grande emblem for the glove box door! i have heard the build ratio for gmc's is about 1 gmc to every 3 chevy's! now factor in that most gmc's were sold for commercial use! how many do you think are left? so be glad you are in the club! it is very limited.....

Try checking out the dealerships, I know that Murray Chev olds on Bishop Grandin has some GMC stuff in their gift shop in the parts department, maybe even the GMC dealer across from them has stuff, not sure because I never been inside.

Welcome to the GMC club.
Right now, I own 3 GMC's, 2 that run and one in pieces scattered all over the garage. I've always liked the looks of the chrome grille and quad headlights better. I do wish that parts were as plentiful as they are for Chevys though.
I still kick myself for not buying that low mileage all original, mint condition, 72 Sierra Grande for $1800 that I passed up a few years ago.

Must admit that when the slow pokes in front see a 67-72 GMC grill on their tail they tend to move out of the way a bit quicker. Personally, Chev or GMC, they're both great trucks.
