Model paint for guage needles ??

What was the correct Testers model paint color again for the needles?

yes, I saw that one. The flourescent Red looked even better (closer to original).

Do I get spray or brush-on??

If it is available, I would get a paint pen. No masking and smoother than a brush.

I used the flourescent orange to put some "Hi-Vis" marks on my gun sights. At that time I was thinking: "This would be awesome on my gage needles !" I haven't looked at the red but the orange was really decent.

My old man detailed the speedo in his Javelin. Looked real good but threw the speedo out of calibration. He used a brush. Maybe if it was sprayed?

I painted mine with Chevrolet Orange engine paint, looks good! I might even try it on the AM radio pointer too.
