Difference in rad. supports ??

What is the difference in rad. supports for a non-air and an air truck, 1972?
Will a non-air support work and what will need changed or, should I just find an air support?
Thanks.

I THINK THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THAT THE AIR COND. RAD. SUPPORTS HAVE A HOLE DRILLED IN THEM FOR THE A/C LINES. IN OTHER WORDS I THINK ALL YOU NEED IS A HOLE SAW, & YOU'LL BE IN BUSINESS. JOHN

The general even made a dimple in the radiator support for you to center your drill on.

GMC supports have two headlight buckets on each side instead of one.

67/68 Chevy supports have seven holes along the bottom edge facing out. 6 are used for the lower shield/deflector, the 7th is for the hood release support. 69-72's only have the 1 hole for the release support.

So can someone tell me and/or post pics on the correct hole sizes and which is which?
Thank you John for the info. If a Greenlee will work, that would make it easy and clean.
Obviously I have a non-air truck and want to add air. Although it will be an aftermarket setup, I would think that I will need those holes.

The hole size is 1 1/2". I have a pic which shows the locations pretty good. I dont think we can post pics yet, if you like I can E Mail it. As mentioned before the holes have a dimple to locate them. John
