new spindles are on
my back hurts now.
it was a lot easier the second time installing drop spindles though  i'll get pics of the old ones tommorow. part of the inner wheel bearing welded itself onto the spindle and wont come off. i made sure to lube up plenty this time  i really dont know if i can tell a difference between these and the old ones. side by side, they look almost identical, when there should be 1/2" difference. my friend who came to talk with me while i was working said he noticed it had a little bit more rake now. |

yes, and when i first went to install the new ones, the jack fit under all points of the control arm. when i was done, and lowered it back down, it wouldnt lower all the way, because the jack was in the way :p |

So how high is the crossmember now? Can you BARELY fit a cokecan under it?

That's a lot of work for not much more drop. I do realize that your old ones were wore out. You should bag it, hehe.

If all you did is changed out the spindles, wouldn't the crossmember be at the same height?
