Wheel Size.

What would be a better wheel size for a 1968 stepside? I have 15x8 wheels on it right now and I am thinking of moving up to a 16x8. Which size is a better for our trucks?

I think it depends on the look you want~~Alot of people are putting 20's on their rides (including me). There's alot of space in the fender wells for any kind of wheel combination. The choice is yours.

What about wheel width? I'd be cool with moving all the way up to a 20in wheel but I wouldn't want it to be too wide to the point where it would kick up rocks and ruin my paint.

People are tucking the 20's inside the fender wells. You have to get rims with a certain back spacing. I haven't seen any that are slinging rocks up. That would be bad on paint though. What do you want to put on?? I have a '68 short stp as well(in works) going with 20's and bags with a 396BBC. What kind of look are you going for???
