Posi is IN!!!
Just got a call from The Rear End Shop...my posi is DONE!! Only took em' 5 hours to install it, to the tune of $275.
The guy at the shop said I was right, it's a Series 3 Carrier with 3.42 gears. I'll take some pictures of TWO lines of rubber But it might have to wait, until Josh fixes the attachments. |

Did you get posi so that you could leave two black marks, or so that you could get traction?
Of course, my truck won't even leave one. On a good day it makes a pathetic squeaking sound when it "launches." Slonaker |

Strangely enough, NOW, it WON'T spin the tires from a roll AT ALL! It just hooks and goes!

Good to hear you have that project done, Tim. What's next?
I found out today, that my "rebuilt" 12-bolt I paid $1,300 for is trash. Including the housing! Time to start all over.....

I welded the rear end in my samurai this past weekend, but not so I can get traction in the dirt, its great, now I go through places in 2wd it required 4wd to go through, of course, now its really just 3wd.
