Rancho Shocks for 1972 Chevy Cheyenne
Has anyone used the RS9000X series Rancho Shocks on their 71-72 chevy trucks? The rancho website suggests the RS99120 for the front. I bought these ones and they are about a 1/4 short of fitting. I was wondering if there just dont fit or it is the fact that the only weight on the frame is the engine and the trans (Doing a off-frame) or if i have to overcome a gas pressure to stretcg it a bit more.
Also if these fit how do they ride? Thanks in advance Jamie |

Probably because of the empty frame. I have Rancho 5000's on my 96 and love the shock. This was my first time using their products and I am VERY happy. When I get to that point on my 70 I plan on using Rancho shocks.
