89 Chev Alternator Amperage

Any of you guys know how many amps a stock 89 Chev alternator would put out? I got a serp belt setup from one to put onto my 80 GMC pickup that I am converting to TPI, but its alternator was seized up, so I gotta get a new one, but I want something that is at least 100 amps.

Also, I noticed that the stock alternator had the battery wire, then a plug that has something like 4 poles to it, my truck has only got two poles there. What are the other wires for, and which ones actually need to be hooked up?
