Question can you?

Ok , i've got a question. Can you do away with the rear leaf springs, build truck arms, use a track bar and bag it? Could you come off of the front rear spring hangers with the truck arms? Then build a track bar to go side to side. All this came to me while the wife and bulldog were snoreing last night. johnj

with a welder...anthing is possible..........I think classic makes the crossmember for the arms to bolt to, you can find used trailing arms all over. you'll probally half to build a bracket for the bags on the frame as the coil frame flairs out in the area for the springs and the leaf spring frame is fairly straight...good luck!

Go to Stock Car Products and you can get trailing arms, crossmembers, etc and could make a sweet adjustable trailing arm suspension.

there's a reason why trailing arms are mounted in a big triangle configuration!!!
what you're suggesting won't work properly it'll be ill handeling and you'll have all sorts of driveline issues
