1961 Apache (?)
Spend most of my time on the 67-72 board, but saw something that would interest most of you on Saturday.
Virtually unmolseted stock 1961 Red fleetside Apache truck in SoCal. The owner of this truck is also the previous owner of my 1971. The original radio, dash (uncracked), seat (undamaged) and sheetmetal were all in place. Grill was perfect, lenses were barely even faded...parked in a carport of sorts. Only damage was a minor blemish or two on the hood at the front edge. He told me (90+ years old) that when this truck was "getting old" he bought the 1971 that I now own. The 1961 still runs just fine. Apparently he gets offers and notes left on it often and has one potential buyer, but that buyer has not shown up yet with any money. Anyway, there are GEMS still out there, just waiting to be found!
