intake part number

Can anyone help me please? I have an intake on now that has the #8288761R
GM 22
on it. Can't tell if that last thing is an r or an 8 for sure....I wondered what this came from and if it was any good or whatever. I have a chance for an old Torker intake and wanted to know which would be better going down the road. The truck runs aroun 3000 rpm at 65 mph anyway, so I think that puts it up in the Torker's range. Any help greatly appreciated before I bother tearing the one out if it's pretty good.

My casting numbers book goes up to 93 and there is no number in my book that is remotely close to the number you posted.

Is it a newer manifold, perhaps?

The Torker is a single plane intake, you'll get much better performance out of a dual plane intake on a street engine.

cleaned it up....the number on top behind the card is either 828876(six)1R or 828875(five)1R with a gm 22 right under it.....the same 22 is stamped on the underneath side....back by where the coil mounts is the number L 2120.....if this helps, great....if not, thanks for the help anyway.....So I would be better off with this dual plane factory intake over the torker?....
