Question About Fuel Tank Sending Unit..1972 Auto Tranny Trucks

Does the '72 auto tranny sender have two fuel line connections going into the sender? I see pics of a V-8, automatic only unit as such. Can anyone verify this? I need one for my FI conversion so I can return the fuel back into the tank. This will save me from having to braze a return line in mine.
Thanx
