K 30
Did they make a factory 1 ton 4 wheel drive. I was curious, because a guy was telling me about one the other day and I didn't think it was original.

Nope, my buddy converted a C30 to a K30 (except the front axle is not a Dana 60).
I'm hoping to get to the barn tonight - the Blazer is gonna have to wait for a while now that I have the K20 home.

Thanks! She hasn't been on the road for 2 years now - that's just is unbelievable to me.
Blazer is gonna have to wait til I get the K20 running and the Blazer won't be going to a body shop anytime soon - it's gonna be a rough driver that can go through the sticks and not worry about. I might give it a better paint job in the future but I will be more inclined to do it myself this time. I did the majority of the sanding on the K20 but just decided paint was over my head. Course in the 8 1/2 months I could have definitely learned the art of painting (at least good enough for me) Been working on the interior the last two nights, got the dash pad and visors installed along with the wiring harness. Will then jump to the engine wiring and plumb the engine so I can finally fire up the engine. Can't wait to hear it roar!
