Will a two wheel drive front suspension bolt onto a 4x4 frame? Any other suspensions to look at? Any ideas are welcome.

I think your problem will be with the rear suspension. 2wd has trailing arms and 4wd is leaf spring.

you can always run a flip kit on the rear. I think to drop in a 2wd front clip you're going to need to drill a couple of holes. I've never really sat down and looked at a 4x4 frame to see what is needed for the conversion. I wouldn't see to much worrys since some members have done the swap. Good luck.

I done one years ago and I got front suspension and cradle from 71 truck. Had to drill a couple of holes and make some brakelines. Drilled out rear spring hanger rivets and installed shorter ones from 2wd leaf spring 70 GMC. Used rear end also. Driveline angle was right that way. Crossmemeber for tranny from a 73 chevy truck. Use front two bolt holes for motor mounts. Also helped to use jack to spread frame rails to get new crossmember in front. moodyholler
