Do threads disappear?
I got in line on a thread yesterday for some seat belts. Now, I can't find the thread anywhere. I've searched all of the possible forums. I thought I would be automatically subscribed. Any ideas?

The original guy may have deleted it. Or a moderator may have deleted it for some reason.

happened to me
Had that happen to me a couple days ago. Piece was promised to me 1st in line, deal went to someone else before I had a chance to accept it and poster pulled post.
I guess it makes sence to pull posts after sale to save server space but in my case it removed the obvious that deal was changed on me. You can edit posts to change what you said or remove an offer etc. Just the nature of the Net I guess. Live and learn. I was just miffed as it went again the usual unwritten board edicate here. Often feels like a happy family but not always. Heres a CHANGE!!

Wow,
I have always thought the history of a thread was accurate. Being able to delete or manipulate them will make me rethink my consideration of Board offers. LT |
