Body repair questions?

The 88 Dually I am looking at needs a good bit of body work(rust). The bulk of it I can do, such as replacing doors, fender, and inner fenders. My questions are what does a body shop typically charge to install rocker panels and cab corners? Also the bed on this truck has some rust spots that look pitted, what would be the best approach to repair that kind of rust? It is not all the way thru the metal but looks "pitted"?
