67-72 Dually/crew Cab-ext Cab Pics Wanted

Does Anyone Have Any Pics Of One Of These Early Trucks Made Into A Crew Cab Or Even An Ext Cab, Especially One Done As A Dually As I Would Love To Do This Myself? Post Any Pics You Have.

any info on how it was done etc? Is there an article on it in the mag?? I am trying to figure out how the pass side door opening is made, the drivers side would not be too hard as a suburban opening could be made to fit as well as sub door, but how do you make the pass side door like that????

You've got it backwards. The passenger side door is easy, it's the driver's side door that's a challenge.

I am currently in the process of building a 1968 GMC LWB into a dually extend a cab. I will post some progress pics as time permits, right now the cab is fully stretched and filled in high solids primer waiting for mulitple coats of inferno red pearl paint followed by even more coats of clear.

There was a really sweet extened cab 4X4 at Kool April Nites about three years ago. It was rootbeer brown and very clean. I'll have to look through my pile of pix to see if I took one of it.
