I've got a new cardboard one sitting in my garage. I can get you dimensions Sunday if you want. Send me a email/pm to remind me. I plan on building a sheetmetal one also.

Dimensions for glove box liner?
Thought it would be a fun little project to make my own glove box liner, since my 68 doesn't have one at all.
Anyone happen to have the dimensions handy? Thanks |

They are 10 bucks new.
That's all I personally need to know about them.

I think I can do better than a cardboard one, even if it is only 10 bucks.

68LSS1 sent me the dimensions, not bad "blueprints". Huge thanks to you bro.
Went to the dollar store and picked up one of those pre-fabbed cardboard boxes, used for storage, etc; (stiff, compressed cardboard) and a tube of contact cement. Made the top, bottom and back all one piece with two end pieces. It's not perfect by any means but for 2 bucks I have a liner that will work fine for my daily driver. Now that I've done it I can someday fab one from fiberglass or sheet metal and something much more permanant. |

I made one out of sheet metal and it is awsome.
Just get an actual glove box liner...a crappy complete used one will work (That's what I used...a one dollar junk yard score) and trace it out on some thin sheet metal. I then used some air powere nibblers...i guess you could use a jig saw with proper blader. Paint it black and bent it up. Fight it into the hole and deive the screws into the metal with a screw driver tip on a cordless drill. You'll also want a thin rubber mat in there so the junk in there won't rattle over the bumps in the road. Here is a little bit of mine....no pics of the whole thing anymore.
