SPARK PLUG CHANGE & NOW NO POWER

Please help me with this problem I am having I changed the oil, cap, rotor and plugs on my truck today and it started up just fine. So I put the air cleaner back on to take it for a spin and soon as I put it into gear there was no power it would go but really sluggish. I had this happen to me before on an older truck and the coil wasn't strong enough to power the new components. That was on an 86 4.3. This truck is an 91 c1500 with a 5.7
Please any coments at all.

thanks in advance

Maybe you moved the distributor while changing the cap and rotor. Swapped plug wires? Wrong plug gap? Wrong plugs?

Was it sluggish before you changed these items? Were you just doing routine maintenance?

If all the above doesn't fix your problem, it is possible that the plugs are not the right ones ( sometimes when crossing brands over this happens) or maybe the gap is not correct.(box dropped tighting gap, etc..)
