Here are a few pictures of my new old truck. As you can see from the pics, from a distance the old girl looks pretty good. Upon closer inspection, however, the cancer in the cab becomes apparent. Would like to hear your comments about how bad you think the rust damage is, and whether or not you think it would be better to try and get another cab instead of using patch panels.



Both rear cab corners are rusted through.


Here you can see the rust through above the windshield.








Yep, that's green grass you see through that big hole.

The windshield frame would do it for me, I'd try to find another cab.
Everything else is certainly repairable but to what extent.

If that's a daily driver some of those repair's are gonna be labor intensive.. Do you have the skill's and tool's to do that kind of work,or will you have to farm it out. If the work get's farmed out you lknow it's gonna cost you some coin,but if you can do it yourself then those repair's are not that hard to do...

If you can weld you can fix it, all the patch panels are available including the inner roof panel,lower inner door panels etc also we have rust free roofs in stock, finding a better cab would be my choice but yours is fixable in my opinion.

It's not a daily driver. I've got it parked and work on it whenever I can get time. I thought I would buy a welder and try to tackle the repairs myself. Maybe that's ambitious thinking, I don't know. If I screw it up bad, I could always junk it and try to find another cab.
