WTB: Firewall Grommet

I have installed cruise control on my 71 and I am looking for the firewall grommet that the speedometer cable, vaccum line, and wireharness go through into the cab. Does anyone have an old one on a truck that they would like to part with? I could cut extra holes in the one I have now but I would like to locate the original 3 hole version first if possible.

Thanks

Jeff

The original 3 hole version was for the windsheild washer fluid hoses that went behind the dash. The speedo cable has a grommet all by itself, as does the tach harness, heater wire, e-brake cable, and oil pressure line. (This may help your search) WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

I am following a set of the original cruise control installation directions and it says that I need to remove the original speedo grommet and replace it with the one that is supplied and run the vaccum, speedo, and cruise harness through it into the cab. Anybody have one of these in an old cab that they aren't using?

Thank you for the reply Wes.

Jeff

I am still hoping someone will see this and have one of these lying around.

Thanks

Re: WTB: Firewall Grommet

Have you thought about using the windshield washer hose grommet? GM also used this grommet for the A/C firewall vacuum lines and wire harness. Probably the same grommet. WES

Re: WTB: Firewall Grommet

Jeff, you may check for one in a 73 and up style. I believe the grommet is 3 hole-d. Trevor

Re: WTB: Firewall Grommet

lol, I didn't even pay attention and didn't think about it either. I knew he had his cruise control on for awhile, and it didn't click. How did this get brought back from the dead? Trevor
